Revelations; Truth & Misconceptions.
The Book of Revelations is one of the most, if not the most, misunderstood books in the Bible. There are many Theologians and Ministers that believe and teach that Revelations is fulfilled. Many believe that Revelations is the revelation of John but in fact it is the revelation of Jesus the Christ to John. The Book of Revelations is broken down into what I call sections. Each section holds truths about the next section which culminates at the end with the millennium. Lets look at the sections before we get into great detail. Section 1 includes, Chapter 1:1 thru 1:18. These verses deal with the Author of Revelations Jesus The Christ. Section 2. Chapters, 1:19 thru 3:22. These verses deal with the 7 Churches of Aisa and the 7 Church ages. [The 7 Church ages theory is disputed by some.] Section 3.Chapters,4:1 thru 5:14. John translated into the Throne room of God. Section 4. Chapters 6:1 thru 7:1. The Lamb {Jesus the Christ} opening the seals, only 6 seals are opened in this section. Section 5. Chapters 7:2 thru 7:8 The sealing of the hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Section 6.Chapter 7:9 thru 7:17 The tribulation Saints. Section 7.Chapter 8:1 thru 10:1 The Seventh Seal opened and the seven trumpets start sounding. Section 8.Chapter 10:8 thru 11:19, Measuring of the temple of God, The Little Book, The 2 witnesses Section 9.Chapter 12:1 thru 12:17, War in heaven Section 10.Chapter 13:1 thru 13:18, The beast Section 11.Chapter 14:1 thru 14:20, The hundred forty and four thousand preach the Gospel to the Jews, Rapture of Saints and destruction of wicked. Section 12.Chapter 15:1 thru 16:21,The seven vials Section 13.Chapter 17:1 thru 19:3, The judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: Section 14.Chapter 19:4 thru 19:10, the marriage supper of the Lamb Section 15.Chapter 19:11 thru 19:21, the supper of the great God; Section 16.Chapter 20:1 thru 20:15, The binding of Satan, The first resurrection, Judgment, Satan, the beast, and the false prophet cast into the Lake of Fire. Section 17.Chapter 21:1 thru 22:21, The new heaven and a new earth. Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Dan 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. [Ref; Dan_7:8, Dan_7:20, Dan_8:9-12, Dan_11:36; 2Th_2:3-10; 1Ti_4:1-3, Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:4] This next statement cannot be accurate for the time of the end had not arrived according to the prophecy of Jesus.{This evidently points out the papal supremacy, in every respect diverse from the former, which from small beginnings thrust itself up among the ten kingdoms, till at length it successively eradicated three of them, the kingdom of Heruli, of the Ostrogoths, and of the Lombards.} [Ref;Dan_7:8, Dan_7:20, Dan_8:9-12, Dan_11:36; 2Th_2:3-10; 1Ti_4:1-3] Many try to use these ancient kingdoms as the ones spoke of by prophecy. [1. The Huns in Hungary 356 2. The Ostrogoths in Moesia 377 3. The Visigoths in Pannonia 378 4. The Sueves and Alans in Gascoigne and Spain 407 5. The Vandals in Africa 407 6. The Franks in France 407 7. The Burgundians in Burgundy 407 8. The Heruli and Turingi in Italy 476 9. The Saxons and Angles in Britain 476 10. The Lombards, first upon the Danube, and afterwards in Italy 526 Though the ten kingdoms differed from these in later periods, and were sometimes more or less, yet they were still known by that name.] Chapter 14 of Isa. proves these statements incorrect. Chapter 14 of Isa. hasn't been fulfilled. Isa 30:31 For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. These next statements are the ones most misunderstood by many Bible studiers.{And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (this is when Jesus died, in the middle of the week, he taught for 3 1/2 years.)} The misconception here is the 3.5 years. Many want to say that the 3.5 years that Jesus taught was the time period mentioned by Daniel. This cannot be for Jesus Himself prophicyed of these events not only in the Four Gospels but also in the Book of Revelations, which, might I add, was not written untill Jesus was crucified and resurrected. Prophecy and History are too different things. Ask yourself this question, Why would Jesus prophecy of events in Revelations that have allready happened? Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Mar 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Dan 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Dan 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. Chapter 13 of Revelations proves that these next few statements are also incorrect. Remember Prophecy and History are too different things. Revelations is not History but Prophecy.{and for the over-spreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (the desolation (destruction of the temple)}The key word here is “Consummation” which means; An ultimate goal or end. The destruction of the tempel was a prophecy by Jesus, but not the 3.5 years spoken of by Daniel. The ultimate goal or end, was not acquired by the Beast nor antichrist, so this could not be the years spoken of by Daniel. {Dan11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes (Caesar) in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.} Caesar was not the beast nor the antichrist. This statement is also incorrect because of the written words of the Ceasers. 21 ¶ And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. [(also Caesar.) The pharasees agreed to be ruled by the Romans as long as they were allowed to keep their temple.] Edict of Augustus on Jewish Rights, 1 BC. Caesar Augustus, pontifex maximus, holding the tribunician power, proclaims: Since the nation of the Jews and Hyrcanus, their high priest, have been found grateful to the people of the Romans, not only in the present but also in the past, and particularly in the time of my father, Caesar, imperator, it seems good to me and to my advisory council, according to the oaths, by the will of the people of the Romans, that the Jews shall use their own customs in accordance with their ancestral law, just as they used to use them in the time of Hyrcanus, the high priest of their highest god; and that their sacred offerings shall be inviolable and shall be sent to Jerusalem and shall be paid to the financial officials of Jerusalem; and that they shall not give sureties for appearance in court on the Sabbath or on the day of preparation before it after the ninth hour. But if anyone is detected stealing their sacred books or their sacred monies, either from a synagogue or from a mens' apartment, he shall be considered sacrilegious and his property shall be brought into the public treasury of the Romans. II..Edict of Claudius on Jewish Rights, 41 C Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, pontifex maximus, holding the tribunician power, proclaims: . . .Therefore it is right that also the Jews, who are in all the world under us, shall maintain their ancestral customs without hindrance and to them I now also command to use this my kindness rather reasonably and not to despise the religious rites of the other nations, but to observe their own laws. Revelations, Truth and Myth. part 2
Each part of Revelations leads into the next section. Prophecy must be utilized to get the full meaning. In this series, I want to look at the Nations that Revelations speaks of; Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number,(454,900,000 (EU-25)) of whom is as the sand of the sea. Revelations speaks of a great number that will gather together as the sands of the sea. Today we find the European Union trying to ratify a compact with all members and prospective members. This would form a singel Nation larger and stronger than the United States. There are currently 25 member states in the European Union. Together with their dates of accession, these are: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Solvakia, Solvinia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. Acceding countries Bulgaria, Romania. Candidate nations Turkey, Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Ukraine, & Republic of Macedonia. Probabel Members; China 1,306,313,812, Russia 143,420,309 Withholding Nation United States 295,734,134 Total 2,200,368,255. This does not include other non-aligned Nations nor will it ever include Israel There are about 4-6 liters of blood in an average human body Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a PLACE called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. Armageddon; "Mount of Megiddo": from a root gadad, "to cut off," i.e. "slaughter" (Rev_16:16)). The plain of Esdraelon, "the valley of Jehoshaphat", “the valley of Megiddo": Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Frogs; The word is Egyptian; The three unclean spirits like frogs (Rev_16:13) symbolize (1) "proud infidelity", opposing Christ and God, "out of the dragon's mouth"; (2) "the spirit of the world", whether lawless socialistic democracy or despotism, setting man above God, "out of the beast's mouth"; (3) "lying spiritualism", superseding the harlot and proceeding "out of the false prophet's mouth." Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. Joe 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Joe 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. Joe 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. Joe 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Rev 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. Rev 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Revelations a Study. Section 1.
Lets look at the sections before we get into great detail. Section 1 includes, Chapter 1:1 thru 1:18. These verses deal with the Author of Revelations Jesus The Christ. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. As we are imformed in this verse, reading and hearing the Book of Revelations is blessed, the Key word we must look at is “KEEP.”[To hold; to restrain from departure or removal; not to let go of; to retain in one's power or possession; not to lose; to retain; to detain.] Revelations has yet to be fulfilled as many would like for the world to believe. Here we see Jesus comanding us to Posses and retain the words of this book. Revelations was not written just for a few and neither were the Letters to the seven Churches of Asia. Seven in scripture signifies a perfice number. The seven Spirits, Here are different intrepretations; Isaiah 11:2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. A.1. The Spirit of the Lord 2. The Spirit of Wisdom. 3. The Spirit of Understanding. 4. The Spirit of Counsel. 5. The Spirit of Might. 6. The Spirit of Knowledge. 7. The Spirit of Fear of the Lord. B.1. Spirit of Truth. John 15:26 2.Spirit of Power 2 Tim 1:7. 3. Spirit of Love. 2 Tim 1:7. 4. Spirit of Self-Discipline. 2 Tim 1:7. 5. Spirit of Wisdom. Deu 34:9. 6. Spirit of Judgment.Isa.4:4 7. Spirit of Life. Rev 11:11. Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. This next set is the one I most addhere to. C. 1.Wisdon, 2.Knowledge, 3.Understanding, 4.Love, 5.Faith, 6.Hope & 7. Charity. Dont let this be confuseing. The Seven Spirits of God are the seven attributes of The Holy Spirit, whom is God. If you knoticed in C. These are working operations of the Spirit unto us. The things God wishes us to be or have. For exampel without wisdon and Knowledge you cannot have understanding. We will cover the seven churches later in this study. Patmos; One of the Sporades. A small rugged island of the Icarian Sea, part of the Aegean; 20 miles S. of Samos, 24 W. of Asia Minor, 25 in circumference. The scene of John's banishment. The first section of Revelations deals with the divinity of ,”The Christ”. Rev. 1:13 thru 16, gives us the true representation of Jesus. Rev 1:13-15. And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.[Ref. Dan_8:18, Dan_10:6, Dan_10:10.] Verses 17 and 18, Jesus introduces Himself to John.

Revelations, A Study. section 2.
Here in Section 2. Chapters, 1:16 thru 3:22. we will look at the sevens of Revelations. Lets take notice of Jesus giveing a discription of Himself in each letter. Rev. 1:19, Is a comandment of Jesus to John to write the things hereafter. Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels [Ministers] of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. The angels of the seven churches, are literal, Ministers, or Pastors. These angels are literial, Dan 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Dan 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. ”Michael is the Angel of Israel.” Starting in Rev 2:1 we will take a look at the Seven Churches. Remember that Revelations is both, physical and Spiritual. Here are the Physical Churches. Definition of “UNTO”, [Middle English : un-, up to; see until + to, to; see to.Unto /Un´to/, conj. Until; till. [Obs.] ] Notice that the word unto, is mentioned in each letter to the Seven Churches. These letters were written to the Angel [Minister] of each church. Why? Because the Pastor or Ministers of Churches have much to answer for and His direction must come from the Spirit. [James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.] [Mar 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.] "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” The Spirit of God is the one speaking to each Church and not the Angel. What is an Angel? 1. A MINISTER OR PASTOR OF A CHURCH, AS IN THE SEVEN ASIATIC CHURCHES. [ARCHAIC] 2. MESSENGER, A MESSENGER OF GOD. 3. A SPIRITUAL, CELESTIAL BEING, SUPERIOR TO MAN IN POWER AND INTELLIGENCE. IN THE SCRIPTURES THE ANGELS APPEAR AS GOD'S MESSENGERS. 4. Warier. 5.ATTENDANT 1.Ephesus. The city were worshippers of the false god Diana, full of congeriours, witchcraft, Idolitors, ect. Now each church we see in these letters have some positive atributes ,we will concintrate on the bad. Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat, [To some extent or degree] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. The Church was not true to the teachings of Christ. “and will remove thy candlestick [ Minister] out of his place, except thou repent. " “out of his place” The Angel of Ephesus. When you remove the minister out of the church you loose Spiritual Guidance. 2.Smyrna. Smyrna ( The City) became a center for the cult of emperor worship. Only two churches, Smyrna and Philadelphia were true to Christ. Great persecution befell the Church and its angel was burned alive. Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. “the synagogue of Satan” This is what Christ called the Jews at this time. The Jews broke their own laws at the murder of the Angel of Smyrna. The Church still exists. 3.Pergamos. Antipas was murdered by the AEsculapiu worshipers. “Satans seet”, The idol AEsculapius. Balaam - lord of the people; foreigner or glutton, the son of Beor.(Num. 31:8; comp. 16)(Deut. 23:4)(Num. 23:7).Nicolaitans, Professing Christians who, introduce a false freedom, licentiousness. They embrased Idol worship. 4.Thyatira. Jezebel, Daughter of Ethbaal, Preistest, 2Ki 9:7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel. 2Ki 9:22 ...the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? “Bright and Morning Star”, Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Rev 2:22, “Bed”,The outer garment worn by day by the poor. Used to cover themselves and to sleep in. “Kill” literally. Here God threatens a great show of Force to put fear into the other churches. Not everyone at this church was involved with Jezebel hense Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 5.Sardis. Sardis was destroyed by an earthquake. Rev 3:4 “Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.” Only a few people were saved out of this church. 6.Philadelphia. Destroyed by Earthquake. Rebuilt This was the church of love.(Gibbon.) The Turks call it Allah Shehr, "city of God"; or rather, "beautiful ('alah) city." In Rev 3:9, Jesus promissed them that He would make them, of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; come and worship before their feet, and to know that Jesus has loved their Church . These next two verses are prophecy. Lets read. Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation [future tense], which shall come [future tense] upon all [every nation] the world, to try them that dwell [Live] upon the earth. Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold [maintain] that fast which thou hast [faith], that no man take [remove] thy crown. If it were not posiable to fall away from salvation, this statment would not be written. Philadelphia was and still is a model church, well spoken of by Christ. Still exist. 7.Laodicea.Destroyed.A lukewarm church. Rich monitarily but poor Spiritually. All Jesus could do was warn them. Discriptions of Christ in section 2. Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his [Jesus] feet, and gave him [Jesus] to be the head over all things to the church, a.These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks. B.These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass. c.The morning star. D. These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars. E.These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth. F.These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; [Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.] Before we leave section 2. We must cover a popular intrepretation of The Seven Churches. If we look into hystory we can see a similarity between the Churches and the Church timelines. Churches ages. I wont get into times and dates for its most confuseing at times and it leades to division amoung many. But as for the last two churches, Philadelphia and Laodicea, we see a resemblence between the discriptions of Christ of the two and the events of the last 200 years and today. If ever there was a time of lukewarmness in the Church it is today. Zec 4:14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.[ The Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit] end section 2.

Revelations a Study. section 3.
Section 3 chapters,4:1 thru 5:14. John translated into the Throne room of God. No matter whom you may ask, you would probable get many different interpretations of the Book of Revelations. My attempt is to give you an insight into prophecy, spiritualism, parables and physical realizations in this book.
In the first few verses in Chapter 4 we see a number of different things, 1. a door was opened in heaven 2. And immediately I was in the spirit 3. a throne was set in heaven 4. one sat on the throne. #1. is spiritual and physical. Just as when God opens up a door for you into areas of this world that were once closed to you and two physical, for Heaven is real. #2. is also both spiritual and physical, transfiguration from the body to spirit. It happened often in scripture. For example 2Ki 2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. #3. A Throne is physical. #4.The Lord God Almighty. Physical The 24 Elders and 24 Thrones. He saw four-and-twenty seats round about the throne, not empty, but filled with four-and-twenty elders, presbyters. The Twelve Deciples and 12 Leaders of the Church in Old Testimate Times. John sees a place of honour for them before the throne of God.[Presbytery The Bible (From Greek a—biblia, meaning "books", which in turn is derived from —byblos meaning "papyrus", from the ancient Phoenician city of Byblos which exported papyrus) is the sacred scripture of Christianity. The Old Testament, or Hebrew Bible. An elder of the congregation in the early Christian church. A bishop is an ordained person who holds a specific position of authority in any of a number of Christian churches. The Throne Room is described by John. This is physical. The Sea of Glass = Purity. The Rainbow represents the covenant between God and Noah. The four beasts full of eyes before and behind. The number represents the Four Gospels. Which are the basis of Gods Salvation for Man. 7. And the first beast was like a lion, (Courage) and the second beast like a calf (Safrifice), and the third beast had a face as a man (Wisdom), and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle (Strength). The eyes around and about represent all knowledge of not only of mankind but of self. Self evaluation; Matthew 7;5."Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. 8.And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. These are not the same as the four beasts as described in Daniel 7:2. Chapter 5:1-14. Verse 3. And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. “no man” according to the flesh, alive, dead, translated or tranformed. in heaven, in earth, or under the earth The Lion of the tribe of Juda. Jesus. (Gen. 49:8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father' children shall bow down before thee. 9Judah is a lion' whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? 10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be . 11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass' colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: 12.His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.). The Root of David, According to prophecy spiritual and not physical. Seven eyes = the seven Spirits of God. Seven horns = Crowns.(Power, Riches, Wisdom, Strength, Honour, Glory, Blessing) From the Hand of God. 7.And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. Verse 10, a promise. Verse 13.And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Prophecy.Phill. 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Revelations is full of symbolism, we must compare scripture with scripture, especiall within the old testiment. end section 3.

In section 4, we will see a lot of symbolism. Section 4. Chapters 6:1 thru 7:1. The Lamb {Jesus the Christ} opening the seals, only 6 seals are opened in this section. The first seal. The White Horse. Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.Rev. 6:2 is not speaking of Jesus but of the antichristian elements. This is the same as the other three horsemen. If you noticed in Rev.6:2 we see a rider with a BOW. In scripture Jesus is never described as haveing a bow but only a sword. The second thing we see here is ”a crown was given unto him” this designates that the rider before was never in power untill it was granted him. The second Seal. The Red Horse. Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. This verse again does not speek of Jesus. This line speakes for itself as not being Jesus.“power was given to him“ Jesus is power and has no need to be given it. This next verse shows, war and hatred amoung mankind, the word sword designates war. The ability to make war was given unto him.“to take peace from the earth, that they should kill one another, was given unto him a great sword.” The third Seal. The Black Horse. Rev 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. [A measure: “The word choenix signifieth a measure containing one wine-quart and the twelfth part of a quart.”] The Black Horseman is a prelude to the pale horse. In verse 6:6 we see the phrase,”hurt not the oil and the wine.” This is the main stapel of Israel. “A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny” Food at this time will cost a days wages. The word Penny, designates wages. “wheat & barley” designates materials that are used in makeing bread but here they also designate food. The fourth Seal. The Pale Horse. The word “pale” signifies death. Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. Hab 2:5 Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:. Reference.Eze_5:15-17, Eze_14:13-21. In this phrase we see 2 spiritual beings. ”power was given unto them” “the fourth part of the earth' “25 %” will fall by starvation, war and beasts. Those that have refused God. “Hell followed with him.” Destination. Rev 6:9 thru 6:11 is speaking of those who were marytered then and now and thoses to come. Today there are many that are being killed for their testimony of Jesus. Day after day I recieve mail telling of Christians being killed for passing out Bibles or witnessing about Jesus. Prophecy is being fulfilled. Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: This phrase is future prophecy.“until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” Reference. Rev_7:14, Rev_13:15, Rev_17:6; Mat_10:21, Mat_23:34, Mat_23:35; Joh_16:2; Heb_11:40. Those awaiting Justice.”How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” Isa 26:21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. The sixth Seal. The great day of Wrath Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; the stars of heaven fell unto the earth mountain and island were moved These are literial; A great earthquake; The sun becomeing black,The moon becomeing as blood; mountains and islands are moved, the heaven departs as a scroll. Rev 6:13 “And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth.” Stars = Fallen angels, being removed from the third heavan. Reverences;Eze_32:7; Dan_8:10. Rev 6:15 Showes that there is no diference between man in the eyes of God. end section 4

Revelations,A Study.Section 5.
Chapter 7:2 thru 7:8 The sealing of the hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. The first question we will look at is the word seal. Why and what is the meaning? Seal; Sphragis Sfrag-ece' Probably strengthened from G5420; A signet (as fencing in or protecting from misappropriation); by implication the stamp impressed (as a mark of privacy, or genuineness), literally or figuratively. The Sealing of the 144,000 is representative or should we say paralell to the mark of the beast, only by God on His chosen. There are many simularieties between Satans Kingdom and the Kingdom of God. If you look close you will see The Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and in paraell you will see Satan, The Beast and the False prophet. You will also see when God seals His chosen from each tribe of Israel you will also see Satan marking His members. You may ask,”Does Satan really have a Kingdom?” The answer is yes, its scriptual. Do I also have proof of these things, yes, we will look at each as we progress into our study. The 144,000 are sealed Jews that will preach the Gospel to each tribe of Israel. [ref; Eze_47:13, Eze_48:19, Eze_48:31; Zec_9:1] Verse 7:1 is speaking of a plague about to be poured upon the earth. Each plague is real, there is no symbolism here. Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth,[North,South,East and West.] holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. The wind is an extremely important factor in our ability to breath and controlls the rains. Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending[comming up from] from the east, having the seal of the living God:... [The mark of the Most High, as per a king and his mark on official documents] ...and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Now If you have noticed each angel that is mentioned has a specific position to fulfill and maintain. This is the pattern that Jesus has set down for His Church. [Ref; 1Co 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.] Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. The plagues will not start untill the sealing of the 144,000. Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. [ref; Rev_14:1, Rev_14:3] As for the tribes of Israel there are actually 13 to speak of. The Tribes; Juda, Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nepthalim, Manasses, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zabulon, Joseph, Benjamin. Can you see the one thats missing from this list? Its the Tribe of Dan. [Ref; Exo_1:2-4; Num_1:4-15, Num_10:14-27, Num_13:4-16.] The Levi Tribe is actually not a tribe but an administration of Religious matters, The Priest of the other twelve tribes. [Ref; Gen 49:16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Gen 49:17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.] (1Ki_12:29). Dan's genealogy is not given in 1 Chronicles 2-12. Its unsettled state audits connection with the far N. Dan, the headquarters of idolatry, may have caused the loss of the genealogy. Dan is omitted among the sealed in Revelation 7 as having been the first to lapse into idolatry, for which cause Ephraim also is omitted (Judges 17; Hos_4:17) and Joseph substituted. Arethas of the 10th century suggests that Dan's omission is because Antichrist is to be from him, or else to be his tool (compare Gen_49:17; Jer_8:16; Amo_8:14), as there was a Judas among the twelve. Jacob's prophecy, "Dan shall be a serpent in the way, ... that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward," alludes primarily to Dan's local position in front of the royal Judah;. end section 5.

Revelations A Study. Section 6.
Chapter 7:9 thru 7:17 The tribulation Saints. Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; “which no man could number” This phrase doesnt designate a number that is unnumeriable but a number that man cannot count., This next phrase is stateing that many of the religions of today that state that they are the only ones going to Heavan because of some tradition or name on the church house door are wrong. These words are showing the total diversity of Gods Kingdom and its Children. “all nations, kindreds, people and tongues.” These verses are self explanitory. But also notice their crys, there are 7. Rev 7:10-7:12 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Rev 7:11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Rev 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest.; [In these verses the angel that is explaining all these things to John, know that John couldnt know whom they were because this is future prophecy that John could not see.] And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. The key word here is “Great Tribulation”. The Great Tribulation that is spoken of here, is the time of the 7 years of the rull of antichrist. Remember that the antichrist and Satan are 2 different people. We will get into greater deatil in later sections. Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. Rev 7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. Rev 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. The Great Tribulation Saints are seperated from the others because of their resistance of the antichristian rule and are awarded a special place and duty to God for all eternity. Key words; “before the throne of God”, “serve him day and night in his temple”, ”God shall dwell among them.” Ref; Eze_34:23; Mic_5:4, Mic_7:14; Isa_25:6, Isa_40:11, Isa_49:9; Psa_28:9, Psa_36:8. end section 6.

Revelations,A Study.Section 7.
Chapter 8:1 thru 10:7 The Seventh Seal opened and the seven trumpets start sounding. Revelations is not written in sequence. We have Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets and Seven Viles of the wrath of God. If we put a seal beside a trumpet and add the Vile we have the complete sequence of events. The reason it was written in this manner was to get Gods Children to compare scripture with scripture. The Seventh Seal if you notced when opened, ushers in a time of silence. This is to introduce the first trumpet. Rev 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. To show you a sequence of events lets just take the first of all three and put them together. The First Seal; Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. The First Trumpet; Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. The First Vile; Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. The seal is opened the trumpet is sounded and the vile is poured out. When looking at all seven in sequence we see the total picture of what is happening. These next 2 verses show that the prayers of the saints are answered quickly. Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. Rev 8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.[Ref; Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?] This is literial.Rev 8:7 The first Trumpet, hail, fire & blood. Result; the third part of trees & green grass burnt up. This is literial.Rev 8:8 The second Trumpet, The third part of the sea became blood;[ Look closely, it doesnt say “became as blood”] the third part of the ships were destroyed. the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died. This is literial.Rev 8:10 The third Trumpet, and there fell a {great star} [spirit] from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; The word,Wormwood, means bitter sorrow. [Jer_9:15,Lam_3:15; Lam_3:19; Deu_29:18; Pro_5:4; Amo_5:7, rendered "hemlock"; Greek apsinthos; Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. This is literial. Rev 8:12 The fourth Trumpet, The third part of the sun, moon, and stars; were darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. Moveing man into the reality that all things come to an end. Business as usual is over. Verse Rev 8:13 is a warning to earth. This is literial. Rev 9:1 The fifth Trumpet, and I saw a {star}[Angel] fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the {bottomless pit.} [Hell opened] Verses 9:2 thru 9:10. The creatures from the Bottonless pit are deamons of Satan. They are given a time limit of Five months, to create as much pain and suffering on mankind as they can, but their power is limited by God so that they cannot, hurt the grass, green things, trees, kill, or hurt anyone with the seal of God upon their foreheads. Rev 9:11 The king, Abaddon, Apollyon. The angel of the bottomless pit. Satan.Abaddon: destroyer, John 8:44. The Hebrew in Job_31:12 and Pro_27:20, "destruction," or the place of destruction, sheol (Hebrew); Hades (Greek). The rabbis use Abaddon, from Psa_88:12 ("Shall Thy lovingkindness be declared in destruction?") (abaddon) as the second of the seven names for the region of the dead. In Rev_9:11 personified as the destroyer, Greek, apolluon, "the angel of the bottomless pit," Satan is meant; for he is described in Rev_9:1 as "a star fallen from heaven unto earth, to whom was given the key of the bottomless pit"; and Rev_12:8-9,12: "Woe to the inhabiters of the earth, for the devil is come down." "He walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" The serpent-like stinging tails correspond to Mohammedanism. The giving of both the Hebrew and the Greek name implies that he is the destroyer of both Hebrew and Gentiles alike. This is literial. The sixth Trumpet, Many who do not understand symbolism use the word “Horses” to try to make fun of Revelations. The word horse is symbolic of a means of transportation. The four angels[evil beings] in the great river Euphrates. These beings go to war against mankind for 396 days + 1 hour. Rev 9:16 thru 9:19 describe the number of deamonic soldiers under their controll and the apperance and the number of man killed.[Outward aspect. phenomenon. A superficial aspect; a semblance.Outward indications] Rev 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. Modern warfare is descriptive of the means of destruction in these verses. Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. Rev 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. Rev 9:20 and 21, show the hardness of mans heart in this period of time. And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, wood. False Idols. A man can make and Idol out of anything from grass to money. Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. The Seventh Trumpet will be covered in chapter 11. end of section 7.

Revelations a Study. Section 8.
Chapter 10:1 thru 11:19, Measuring of the temple of God, The Little Book, The 2 witnesses. The Seven Thunders , any speculation on the words spoken of by the seven thunders would be useless, it is not for us to know. Rev 10:5 thru 10:7, the end of physical time. Time was created for man and not for God. Rev 10:7 is future prophecy. Rev 10:8 thru Rev 10:10 Is speaking of the Truth of the Scripture, to the human body it is bitter but to the spirit of acceptance it is sweet. John at this point was told that he was to continue to spread the gospel. Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. [3 years and 6 mths.] We are starting to get closer to the explanation of the Seven year peace treaty with Israel and the Antichrist. The two witnesses, [the two olive trees, the two candlesticks.] Rev 11:3 thru Rev 11:6 is an explanation of the two witnesses and their power for the time alloted them ,their power and their witness for God. Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. [3.48 years.] Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. The testimony of the two witnesses will not be stoped nor altered by any human or spirit. Now there are two intrepretations of the Idenity of the two witnesses. Enoch and Elijah [Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.] Enoch never saw death. Elijah, 2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.Elijah never saw death. The other theory includes Moses which had a physical death, but is said to have called down fire from heavan. Elijah and Moses. [Isa. 52:7,Isa. 44:26-28, Isa.52:8-9; 62:6-7, Ezek. 40-48] This is literial, Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. {Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.}{Isa 30:30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.} {Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.} This is literial,Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. Rev 11:7-19; And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, [paralell to their time of testimony of 3.48 years.] and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. “their dead bodies' This statment is the one that always stands out about the idenity of the two witnesses,“their dead bodies'.Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Remember Moses, he had allready died. Mans rejoicing over the death of the two witnesses. Rev 11:11 thru Rev 11:12 These two verses represent a rapture [Rapture; The state of being transported. The transporting of a person from one place to another, especially to heaven.] of the two witnesses. Rev 11:13 thru Rev 11:19 We see judgment, plagues, and distruction. All these verses are literial. Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. end section 8.
