The words Horn and Crown always represent Kings. Now these kings are literal. The emphasis on these kings and or kingdoms are representative of the Middle eastern region. Revelations a Study. section 10.
Chapter 13:1 thru 13:18, The beast The beast as described in scripture is the anti-christ, or as God calls him the Assyrian. Many believe this is Satan but the Scriptures state otherwise. Lets take these next few verses and break them down. Rev 13:1 And “I”=John, stood upon the “sand”=the edge of humanity, of the sea=man, and saw a “beast”=anti-christ, rise up out of the “sea”= man, having “seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns.”seven heads = 7 Mountains, ten horns = Ten kings, seven crowns =7 Kings., and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Anamils attributes are always used in scripture to describe the attributes of God and a man.The key words that we are looking for in prophecy are, “was like”,“were as” & “as the”, these words should indicate to you automatically that an animal is only a medium to describe something else. Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a “leopard”=who has great vision, and his feet were as the feet of a “bear”great power,, and his mouth as the mouth of a “lion”=power to devour: and the “dragon”=Satan, gave “him”= anti-christ, “his power, and his seat, and great authority”= Satans powers are given to the anti-christ.[Ref; Dan_7:6, Dan_7:7; Hos_13:7; Hab_1:8 Psa_22:21; Isa_5:29; Hos_11:10; Amo_3:12; 2Ti_4:17; 1Pe_5:8] Rev 13:3 And I saw “one of his heads” = Mountain{Kingdom} Eze 30:24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man. as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast., The beast will take by force 3 kingdoms and the other 4 will capitulate. [Ref; Rev_17:10, 2Th_2:9-12.] Rev 13:4 thru Rev 13:7 are best described by Daniel, this is the time of great confusion and deception. Please read the description by Daniel. Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. [Ref; Dan_7:21, Dan_7:25, Dan_8:24, Dan_8:25, Dan_11:36-39, Dan_12:1] We are going to get into the full meaning of Daniel concerning Revelations, in our next study. This verse is one that is used by many to show that the Church will still be here during the 7 year Tribulation period. Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. [Ref; Isa_33:1, Isa_26:21] Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. [Dan_7:8, Dan_7:24, Dan_7:25; 2Th_2:4] [Mat_7:15; Rom_16:18; 2Co_11:13-15 Rev 13:12] Rev 13:11continued; And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. The most exciteing thing about the Bible is that every thing, ever verse, every chapter ties together. these next few verses help explane Rev. 13:11 thru 13:18. “2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” “The son of perdition”; is not saying that the anti-christ is the son of Satan but that he has all the attributes of Satan. The largest part of Chapter 13 of Revelations is self explanitory. Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. These next verses explain Rev 13:13 thru 17. Lets Read. Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. There are many different intrepretations of Rev 13:18, Numerlogy doesnt work, nor is it a resurected man, that is against scripture. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. The number 666 is a mans name in the pure Hebrew dialict which God said that He would restore to the people of Israel. To guess on the name would be non constructive. So I must leave it the way it is for now. end section 10.

Revelations a Study. section 11.
Chapter 14:1 thru 14:20, The hundred forty and four thousand preach the Gospel to the Jews, Rapture of Saints and destruction of wicked. Rev.14: thru 14:7. Revelations is a book of absolutes. Many of the verses in chapter 14 are self explanitory. I have introduced explanition where needed. Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb{The Christ} stood on the mount Sion [A name of Mount Hermon. Most Holy Mountain of God.]{Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city[Jerusalem,City of David] of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,}, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand{The Sealed Jews of Israel}, having his Father's name{Jehovah} written in their foreheads. There are many that believe that Armogeddon has nothing to do with Israel. This is because they fail to research the prophecy of the old Testiment. The Land of Israel is the land that Satan and the Anti-christ must obtain to stop prophecy from being fulfilled. We will expand into that area later in our studies, countries, maps and areas. Rev 14:2 thru 14:7 is self explanitory. Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits{First congregation of believeing Jews} unto God and to the Lamb. Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Babylon is two places in Revelations, The physical and the Spiritual. In Hebrew writeings when a name or should I say subject is mentioned twice that indicates that it happens twice. The first was the fall of Physical Babalon in the Old Testiment. Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. [Ref; Rev_16:19, Rev_17:5, Rev_17:18, Rev_18:2, Rev_18:3, Rev_18:10,Rev_18:11, Rev_18:18-21; Isa_21:9; Jer_51:7, Jer_51:8, Jer_51:64, Rev_11:8, Rev_17:2-5, Rev_18:3, Rev_18:10,Rev_18:18, Rev_18:21, Rev_19:2; Jer_51:7; Eze_16:15-22; Nah_3:19] The second is both spiritual and physical. The spiritual side concerns, false, doctrine, teaching, preaching. The physical side is an actual city of earth that John explaines later. Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, These next two verses; 10 & 11, show the punishment of Hell. Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. [Ref; Isa_33:14, Isa_34:10; Joe_2:30; Luk_16:23, Deu_28:65; Isa_57:20] Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth{These are the ones mentioned in {Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?}: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelations,A Study.Section 12.
Each part of Revelations leads into the next section. Prophecy must be utilized to get the full meaning. In this section we will be useing many references and compairing scripture with scripture. I want to look at the Nations that Revelations speaks of; Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number,(454,900,000 (EU-25)) of whom is as the sand of the sea. Revelations speaks of a great number that will gather together as the sands of the sea. Today we find the European Union trying to ratify a compact with all members and prospective members. This would form a singel Nation larger and stronger than the United States. There are currently 25 member states in the European Union. Together with their dates of accession, these are: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Solvakia, Solvinia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. Acceding countries Bulgaria, Romania. Candidate nations Turkey, Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Ukraine, & Republic of Macedonia. This does not include other non-aligned Nations nor will it ever include Israel There are about 4-6 liters of blood in an average human body Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a PLACE called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. Armageddon; "Mount of Megiddo": from a root gadad, "to cut off," i.e. "slaughter" (Rev_16:16)). The plain of Esdraelon, "the valley of Jehoshaphat", “the valley of Megiddo": Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Frogs; The word is Egyptian; The three unclean spirits like frogs (Rev_16:13) symbolize (1) "proud infidelity", opposing Christ and God, "out of the dragon's mouth"; (2) "the spirit of the world", whether lawless socialistic democracy or despotism, setting man above God, "out of the beast's mouth"; (3) "lying spiritualism", superseding the harlot and proceeding "out of the false prophet's mouth." Lets compare Joel with Revelations. Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. Joe 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Joe 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. Joe 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. Joe 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Revelations A Study. Section 13.
Chapter 17:1 thru 19:3, The judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters. The anti-christ, to try to defeat Jesus must take as many kingdoms as he can by force, to gain a great army. He also knows prophecy but still trys to change it. Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters = :peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Rev 17:2 = A false sense of Power. Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit = not in body, into the wilderness = of man: and I saw a woman {Dan_7:23;} sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads = seven mountains = seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come = {Dan_12:4, Dan_12:8-10; Hos_14:9; Mat_13:11, Mat_24:15}; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space, on which the woman sitteth.and ten horns = ten kings. Rev 17:4 = Earthly Riches. Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. = False religion. This introduces us to the one world religion that many Kings are speaking of today to help stop war. Rev 17:6 thru 17:7 are Literial and self explanitory. Rev 17:8 The beast = Satan, that thou sawest was, and is not = Satan is present but without power.; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition = Hell [Ref:Mar_9:44;] and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when {dont let this next line confuse you. Satan at this point “was” “But without Power”,”But His day hasnt come yet.”,}they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Rev 17:11 thru Rev 17:14. Literial and self explanitory. The Ten Kings are the Kings, of this moment, of the ten kingdoms of the old Roman Empire. Which you have allready been given a list. The anti-christ makes war on ten kingdoms, he takes the first three by force and theother seven capitulate.Giveing the anti-christ power over all 10. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. [Very important References; Eze_16:37-44, Eze_23:45-49; Dan_2:40-43, Dan_7:7, Dan_7:8, Dan_7:20,Dan_7:24; Zec_1:18-21] Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. This last verse indicates that it is Rome. Why? Look at the wording; “great city”, which “reigneth” “over the kings of the earth”. Rome in scripture is always mentioned haveing great power and vast rule.In early Roman Hystory, the Pope of Rome ordered the Idols of Babylon, to be removed and brought to Rome and be re-dedicated to God. This act was against Scripture. Babylon, that mighty city. Rev 18:1 thru Rev 19:3 are literial and self explainitory. “I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.” “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen” ”the merchants of the earth are waxed rich” Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness= the quality possessed by something with a great price or value! for in one hour is she made desolate. The next question most people ask is,”What City is Babylon?” Babylon is not only a city but a religion. If we look close at the description of the city we can eliminate 99% of all countries of the world. There are three destinct intrepretations of what the city is. The First is, Babylon Iraq, which still stand, thou in great ruin. The second is Rome with her controll of religion in many nations of the Earth. The Third, which I believe is most likely, is New York City. The Tradeing Center of the World. New York sea ports, financial institutions, N.Y.S.Exchange, Nasdac, ect. and trade centers. We will get into greator detail on the city in our study of Daniel. end section 13.
Revelations, A Study. section 16.
The Number of man killed in the three battles for the earth is stagering. We have never seen such destruction and bloodshed in this life. The Reason that we continue to preach and teach the scriptures is because of the pain and torment that will befall many. Some try to say that Christianity will convert the world. This is a miss leading statment and also false. The apostile Paul stated that, 1Co 9:22 “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” That I might by all means save some. And this is our purpose here, to try to win as many as we can before its too late. 1Co 9:23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. Chapter 20:1 thru 20:15, The binding of Satan, The first resurrection, Judgment, Satan, the beast, and the false prophet cast into the Lake of Fire. This section speaks of the thousand year reign of Christ upon the earth. This verse is literial. Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. This verse is literial. Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, This verse is literial. Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.= Satan being bound by Christ will have no power untill he is realeased after the thousand years and at that time will be allowed to run wild untill He is finally defeated by Christ. This verse is literial. Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Many believe that there will only be one but the scripture speaks otherwise. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. The second death is the final judgment of the lost where they are resurected to judgment, tried, convicted andsentanced to the lake of fire. This verse is literial. Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, This verse is literial. This is the final battle of Gog and Magog, there was two. Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. All nations on the earth will compass about Jeruselam and there by be destroyed. This is contrary to what many are teaching about Jerusalem. The Battles will be fought there. Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. Psa 59:13, Isa 7:20, Psa 37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. Dan 2:44 Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Sense Satan was never in the flesh he did not have to be killed.Isa 14:15,Isa 24:18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. The Great White Throne Judgment, God has left all judgment to the Son. This verse is literial. Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. This verse is literial. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. This verse is literial. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Hos_13:14; 1Co_15:26, 1Co_15:53. Scofield states "The second death" and the "lake of fire" are identical terms (Rev_20:14) and are used of the eternal state of the wicked. It is "second" relative to the preceding physical death of the wicked in unbelief and rejection of God; their eternal state is one of eternal "death" (that is, separation from God) in sins (Joh_8:21); (Joh_8:24). That the second death is not annihilation is shown by a comparison of (Rev_19:20); (Rev_20:10). After one thousand years in the lake of fire, the Beast and False Prophet are still there, undestroyed. The words "forever and forever" ("to the ages of the ages") are used in (Heb_1:8) for the duration of the throne of God, eternal in the sense of unending.I added this because I agree with his intrepretation. This verse is literial. Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. If there is any special study or questions that you may need answered, feel free to submit your request and I will send them to you. I am always in your service in the name of Christ. Section 17.Chapter 21:1 thru 22:21, The new heaven and a new earth. Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. The oceans will no longer exist. Isa_65:17-19, Isa_66:22; 2Pe_3:13 Psa_48:1-3, Psa_87:3; Isa_1:21, Isa_52:1; Jer_31:23 Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. All the false religions will be gone never to be heard of again. There will no longer be any debate on the meaning of scripture, for all will be revieled. The doctrines that have seperated many christians will be no longer. We will all be members of the one true church. Its name is The Church of the First Born. Verses 1 thru 7 are promises from God to all that have believed upon His Son. Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Rev 21:8 reviels the type of people that will never enter into Heaven. ”But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” The existance of Hell is rejected by many but if we are to believe in Heaven we must also believe in Hell. For both were created by God. All these verses are literial. Rev.21:9 thru 27 gives the description of the City of God, that were are to inhabit. Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.Isa 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. The City. Rev 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs = .1/8 mile (201 meters)=241,200/1,609 meters =150 miles. The City. 150 Miles x 150 Miles. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits = about 17 to 22 inches , according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. = 3168 inches = 264 Feet. Chapter 22 of Revelations is all literial, the blessings and the curses. These verses are again warnings of who will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Rev 22:19 is the bigest reason that we cannot dismiss the 7 church theory, we must all decide for ourself but do not allow this to seperate us from each other. If we cant go to heaven hand in hand we will not go at all. God Bless and thank you for your time. In Christ Rev.A.R.Smith.
