Whosoever therefore Resisteth the Power.
Sin is a wheel that starts, at the center with unbelief. If you look at a wheel, you will always see a center, no matter what type of wheel you are looking at. As this wheel of sin, expands out, we can see on all sides, lifestyles that all are interconnected to the center. On one side, adultery, on the other, lies, on the other we see homosexuality and so on and so on. At the ends of these spokes we see sharp barbs that cut and tear at the very fabric of humanity. Each of these sins kill and rip each person apart until there is nothing left, and all because of unbelief. Why is sin so prevalent in a world created by God, for His good pleasure? Because men have resisted the powers that are. Lets read and understand.“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” A man that preaches the Gospel, must be ordained by God and not as many say, that are confused, ordained by man. Men can ordain a minister, but unless that man was called by God to deliver the message, that ordination will not be fruitful, nor multiply. Not to be misunderstood, there are many in this world that have great followings, but there is no power without Gods presents. For God is the Power, Jesus is the Sacrifice and the Holy Spirit is the Teacher. For even the Bible states that Satan can appear as an angel of light. “Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” When a man is told the truth and he resists the power behind it, this is a matter of grave importance, for each and every minister of God, has been given power, as it is written of Gods ministers;“But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” By resisting the minister, you have resisted the Power behind the minister. God is all in all, sees all, knows all, and is either a rewarder or a revenger to those that believe or resist. When a minister says that a couple is committing adultery, a thief, a lier, a whoremonger and effeminate, he is saying truths, not from himself, but from God. And where is God in all of this, Hes in the word that the minister reads from. When a minister pronounces and delivers what sin is, it is not his evaluation but the word of God. For we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Even the ordained ministers of God, had to repent of their sins and be saved. We all have a past that, at times, comes back to haunt us, but those that are saved, God does not remember their past sins. These forgiven sins are a help, when it comes to warning others of what not to do. We can use our past, not as an antagonism but rather a teaching tool. When a minister says that there will be no adulterers, lairs, homosexuals, thieves or any other sins that will inter into the kingdom of Heaven, he knows that many of these things were at once in his life and can tell what these sins did to destroy him. Paul states of this; “Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.” So if a man says that he has no sin, he has lied, if a man says that he has never sinned, he has called God a lier. “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good.” “kick against the pricks.” prick; To spur; to goad; to incite, To affect with sharp pain; to sting with remorse.“And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.”Many a minister in todays world are hated and despised because of their testimony of Christ and the word of God. Many are even hated by their own families. Jesus stated that it is hard to kick against the truth(pricks), even thou one might believe that they are doing God service, even thou one may believe that he has no sin or is righteous in his own way. Many hate and despise the ministers because they tell what the Lord says instead of telling them what they want to hear. A minister of God is and will continue to be held accountable for his delivery of the message of God. We cannot alter the truth in any manner, even if it hurts(pricks) our own family. The truth shall set you free, but a lie will cause a man to enter into eternal damnation. “Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”Ordinance; A rule established by authority; a permanent rule of action. An ordinance may be a law or statute of sovereign power. In this sense it is often used in the Scriptures. Exo 15. Num 10. Ezra 3.We having the spirit and mind of Christ, we speak as He spoke, taught as He taught and condemned sin in the flesh, as He also condemned sin. “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” Just a thought. What I have done.
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the door, and no man enters except threw, and by Him. He is the one that opens the door and who then shuts the Door, Christ. When the door is shut, what manner of man can open it? No one can, for only Jesus has the power to open a shut door. We are not saved by our works but only by grace, threw faith. What I have done cannot open a shut door. Many enjoy a good Christian singer, sometimes they bring about inspiration and sometimes, even bring about tears to those that hear. When the singing is done, there are some that will come up to this singer and tell him how wonderful they are, how beautiful they sing, and how they inspire all who listen. There is no problem with this unless the singer gives the incorrect response. Their response should not be, yes, look what I have done, look how wonderful I am, look at how I inspire and bring tears to the audience. The answer should be, yes the Lord is good, He is the one who inspires men threw the gift He has given me, and the Holy Spirit surly did bring tears to the audience. I have never done anything that the Lord didn't ordain. Lets read and understand these scriptures. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, “The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow “my fruits”? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?” Also;“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” The man that says,”I am”; has forgotten that at one time was, “Nothing.” I have done nothing, that wasn't already ordained by God. I am a fine preacher, because of the Lord, I am a fine singer because of the Lord, I have plenty because of the Lord, I am, what I am, by the grace of God. We are the creation of the Lord, we are His possession and are subject to His will. Wars will come and go, fighting, famine, petulance, and conflicts are inevitable, but all in all, God is in control. Man brings these things upon himself because of unrighteousness and sin, both being the same. Many say,”Why does God allow killing and war? Why did God allow the Israelites to kill hundreds of thousands in the Davinich wars? “Why?” Those that ask these questions have not, and do not, understand who God is. They are in need of understanding and wisdom. God is who He is. He created all things visible and unvisitable, He needs no one to exist, no one to council Him and no one to question His authority. We belong to the Lord. Those that were killed in these wars, were those that were unrighteous and unwilling to accept God as Lord of all. They were not acceptable to rules or restrictions, that believing in God brings. Thou shalt not steal, thou shall not co mitt adultery, thou shall not. They were living as “I will”.In the end of days many shall come to God and say,”Look what I have done, I have preached in your name, I have sung to your Glory and I have cast out demons by the Name of your Son Jesus, I have earned, and bought plenty of oil for my lamp, I am ready, I am good, I am here.” And the door will be shut. Why, you have oil and have done many works for Christ and the Father, why can I not enter? Because of, “I”. “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”Its the “I” factor, the fruits that many are bringing forth, in the name of the Lord, are moth eaten, cankered, and rotten. They were manifested by “I” and not by faith. Faith without works are dead, being alone, not sustained by eatable fruit, not being planted by the word of God, not being in a garden that was filled by the soil of faith and watered by the spirit. A Well of Water. The Temporal and The Eternal.
Jesus stated of the body; “Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again.” We have seen in our natural lives, that this body is very demanding. It desires and is in need of maintenance each and every day. The natural body is what is called temporal. A temporal item is measured or limited by time, or by this life, or this state of things; having limited existence; opposed to eternal. As the Bible explanes; “The things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” This body has a limited existence, for we shall all pass away, but until that time the body must be cared for. Water is the essential medium for any life to exist, for without water the body would die. Jesus was explaining to the Samaritan woman the difference between temporal and eternal water. “Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?”With little understanding of the spiritual side of life, this woman wanted to compare Jesus to Jacob, the physical man and the spiritual man. Many people are like this woman today, not knowing the difference. We are instructed to teach the Gospel to all nations, so that all men will know, and hopefully accept, the things of the spirit, and admonish the things of the flesh. “Art thou greater than our father Jacob?”Many men are held in high esteem, and many times, are held in higher regard than the Lord Himself. This should not be so, those that call others Father, know not what they are speaking. Lets read a little from Jesus concerning the temporal and the eternal. “Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” Jesus stated of John the Baptist, that He(Jesus)was greater, and had a greater testimony than that of John, even though John was the greatest man born of woman, this holds still true today. There are many that are glorified in this world that are, and have a, lesser, testimony that that of John, but are still held in higher praise. These men are temporal, they are delivering only what they have received from God. These messages are not our own, and are delivered to the masses by the will of God, and not that of man. When a doctrine of man is delivered, it holds no truth, for the Holy Spirit will not testify to its truth. Mans doctrines, according to Scripture, are again, temporal, for all the imaginations of man, their religions, their gods and their self made doctrine, shall all pass away. For again Jesus states this fact clearly here; “For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat?(The man listening to the Gospel.), or he that serveth(The man that delivers the Gospel.) is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.” (And Jesus was Greater than any.)“Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.” The Bible states that men should fear the Minister,“For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.” It is not the fear of the temporal man, that Jesus speaks of, but rather the message that is delivered by that man, for that man shall also give testimony of his words, and these words shall give testimony of those that have heard. “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” The true worshipers of God, are those that do not preform rituals, but those that worship in spirit, and with the truth in their hearts. The long flashing robes and head dresses are not things that the Lord is seeking, but its the man that is reborn from the temporal to the spiritual. A rebirth of not the body but the soul. arsJoh 4:10-14 Joh 4:22-26 2 Cor 4. Mat 11:11 Joh 13:16 Luk 22:27 Rom 13:4-7 Webster,TSK
The Cause of Strife.
As it is written;"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The state of man today is the worst that it has ever been. We are experiencing massive calamities than ever before. We are seeing rapes, thieves, war, murders, abortion on massive scales, and the populace has for gotten the rights of all men to be counted as equal under God.What is the cause of hatred in man, what is the cause of abortion, what is the cause of theft, and violence of all kinds? The cause is, men without Christ Jesus in their lives. There are many skeptics in this life, where they considerer religion to be the biggest producer of violent acts, especially war, and conflicts between nations. These men are possessors of the spirit of anti-Christ. They follow and obey their father the Devil. If we look at the testimony of Christ, we can see the cause and cure of many things that affect mankind today. This is the reason that Christ was sent to earth by the Father."The thief (Satan.)cometh not, but for to steal(Mens souls.), and to kill(mens lives.), and to destroy(mans belief in God.)(Jehovah.):" As we look at our surroundings, we see many men believing in all manner of gods, idols, and soothsayers. None today seek after God, no not one, but they all want to blame God, and His Christ, for everything that goes wrong. They blame God for the loss of peace and safety, they blame Jesus for causing wars and terrorism, they blame the gospel for causing devisions among the families.Remember Jesus stating, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."Then where is this more abundant life, where will it manifest itself in our lives, and the lives of mankind? It will not come to those that refuse to believe in Him, but only to those that are true followers of God. (Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. )All manner of strife in this life, can most assuredly, be attributed to mans falling away from God and the truth. No man is an island, and no man can live a life alone without all manner of sin and corruption touching their lives. This is the cause of many to fall away, as was prophesied in scripture in the end days. Men have come up with their own version of the truth, which causes them to step away from God and His way of life. Men labour and work to gain wealth and prominence, this leads to many to fall away from the words of Christ."Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed." Everything that a man strives for, will, in the end, perish, without knowing where it went. We see this today in many financial problems within this country and the world. Men have strive by war, conflict, theft, and many other way to gain an upper hand on the rest, but all in all it has come to nothing. The stimulus package has caused many troubles and problems in these last few weeks, not only in the United States, but in other areas of the world. The rest of the world wants to share in this money that is to be spent, but no one cares about the other. No one cares why we have all entered into a state of near bankruptcy and a transition from being wealthy to being impoverished. The reason again is, without Christ none of us can do anything."And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." This is the hope that should dwell in all mankind, but sadly, men will go too and fro, seeking knowledge and never being able to know the truth. For the truth is harsh to all, some will accept it, others will reject it. Without Christ we would all perish, no hope of a glorious after life, no hope of a righteous resurrection, but being listed as one who will face the second death. Speak Not Peace.
We see our world and lives changing from day to day. We are seeing things today that we never thought that we would. There is a spirit loose in this life that is trying to steal, kill and destroy, everything it touches. “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.” The reason behind all of this is that the Gospel of Christ is under attack by the forces of evil and darkness. You may say that Christ defeated the enemy, and you would be correct. But as the scriptures state, there is a spirit of anti-Christ on this earth. Many men of religious training are being deceived by this spirit, telling all that we must all learn to accept every wind and doctrine, sin and lifestyle, abominations and religions, upon the earth, so we can have everlasting peace. But there will be no peace, there will be no consolidation of the religions of this world, for the Children of God, and of Christ, are not those that worship idols, we are not of those that embrace false doctrine, and false gods. For we are set to defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is life to a lost and dying world. Blessed are the peace makers for they shall receive peace, but not everyone that saith Lord, Lord, are sent by God, nor will they be accepted. “For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.” These are the deceivers, being deceived by their own lust for power over his fellow man. Taking women, men and children into captivity, knowing not what they teach nor of what they affirm, false doctrine of peace, false doctrine of gods many, and lords many. Is there any chance for a true peace in the middle east and with Israel? The answer is no. There can never be peace in Israel, as long as the spirit of anti-Christ exist. This spirit consumes all of the nations that are fighting against Israel. You need to see proof of this spirit? Look at the middle east, what do you always see and hear? Destroy Israel, destroy America, destroy the Christian influence. There are none so blind, as those that will not see. When we start opening up our eyes, we will see the true enemies of peace, the true enemies of God.“Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.” Many organizations today promote hatred of Christianity and the word of God. It started small and unseemly. A woman filed suit against prayer in school. This nation did nothing to stop this tragedy. We are all to blame. “Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.” The councils of the ungodly are many. There is an assumption that the U. N. can somehow control the Middle East and bring peace to the region by dividing up the Land of Israel, and sectioning off the Holy City of Jerusalem. This is a dream of mad men, and will never happen. The City will be over run by the forces of the anti-Christ and be occupied for a time. But this will all end in the war to end all wars, the Battle of Armageddon. “For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.”The middle eastern region is coming up with many devices to destroy the people of Israel. Iran will be looking to destroy her with atomic weapons and propaganda. We see much of this propaganda coming from the United Nations General Assembly. They condemn Israel, they are trying to file war crimes charges against her, all because she defended herself against constant attack from Hamas. This is the fate of all nations that are coming against Israel.“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” O Babylon, Babylon, how far hast thou fallen, how far will the nations go to destroy the Holy City and the chosen people of our God, Israel. “And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.” ARS.2Co 12:7-8; Psa 5:10 Psa 21:11 Psa 31:18 Psa 35:20 Rev 18:3 Rev 16:19 Webster,TSK
Power and the End Days Church.
Power is something that we all have been used to living with. For electrical power to reach the out most homes we use a booster, for as the electricity flows further from its source of origin it gets weaker, the same thing happens to water pressure. This is the way of transferring power from one source to another. Many people ask the same question over and over again, Why can't we do, or why can't we see, the power of God working in our lives, why can't we do the things that Jesus told us we can do?The answer is two fold. 1. many of the things that we are able to do are not taught in the Church, for many believe that the gifts were only for the disciples of Christ and 2. The lack of faith. Lets read a little; “And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:”The part of this verse I want to look at is this; “And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:” Were the disciples the only one to be ordained to act as ambassadors of Christ, or were all men given to opportunity to have these gifts? Some tried to buy these, but were rebuked and scolded, for as the Bible instructs, these gifts are free to all who desire them. Its the power that we are lacking in these end days. As the church fades farther away from the source of power, the gifts start to fail, and the seducing spirits start getting stronger. As it was with the Children of Israel, with the miracles that God had done for them in their exodus, the same thing is happening today. As the memory of Christ fades from the church, the church becomes weaker, and the teachings of Christ are being questioned. Many churches are seeking proof from science that the things that Christ did were possible. Is this really true, of course it is. The gifts that were free are now being ignored and the things that Christ did for us, has become a tedious task for many. They are going to church by habit instead of love. Many deny the trinity because they don't understand it, many wonder if a virgin can have a baby, if a man can heal the sick, raise the dead, feed multitudes by asking and if there really is a resurrection. This is all part of Biblical prophecy, these things were meant to happen. Here is your proof;“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,(Plainly; expressly; without duplicity; without disguise or reservation of meaning; not by inference or implication.) that in the latter times(The end of Days.) some shall depart(Leave.) from the faith(Gospel.), giving heed(To mind; to regard with care; to take notice of; to attend to; to observe.)to seducing spirits(To draw aside or entice from the path of rectitude and duty in any manner, by flattery, promises, bribes or otherwise; to tempt and lead to iniquity; to corrupt; to deprave.),and doctrines of devils(a principle or position in any science; whatever is laid down as true by an instructor or master.); Speaking lies(Untruths.) in hypocrisy( simulation, or the assuming of a false appearance of virtue or religion; a deceitful show of a good character, in morals or religion; a counterfeiting of religion.); having their conscience(knowledge of our own actions or thought.) seared(Burnt on the surface; cauterized; hardened;) with a hot iron;” “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”We must know the power of God, being His children. The power of God flowed threw Christ, and it must flow threw us. These seducing spirits have a hold on many in these end days, causing some to forget the power that was given to them from the time of their salvation. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost gave us this power, without limit, only to those that would accept it. The power we have, comes from God, but as the Church seeks out an easer way of doing things, the power becomes weaker, getting away from the Lords teachings causes this. There is no booster or an extra power adapter that can help us. If we choose to get away from the source of this power, we do it on our own free will. As the church becomes weaker, the spirits of anti-Christ, starts taking control of the minds of men, and many different doctrines come about. No one is saved just because they were born into a religious family, this is a lie and a misconception. The Bible expressly states that a man must repent of his sins and accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God, without this confession and repentance, there can be no salvation, the power is absent. Do they not understand the teachings of Christ, or are they ignoring them?“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Man has begun getting away from the power source, these false doctrines put many into a dire situation. Why are men questioning God, why are men denying Gods word, why, O why, are many falling away? Many have received the power, but as with electricity and water, we can turn off the lights and not use the water, this is why many are sitting in the dark and have nothing to drink. Jesus paid all the cost for this power and we are turning away from it and turning to false doctrines and lies, prophecy is being fulfilled.Just a thought. Judging and Offending..
We are a peculiar people, the people of earth. We strive for everything from power to wealth. Sometimes we see ourselves as super human, with the ability to leap tall buildings with a single bound, but some times we can't even open a jar without help. Many people, even Christians, don't realize that, there will be others that will judge, and others, that will offend. Offenses come in many different varieties and forms. Some times they are subtitle, and sometimes, they are direct, and hurtful. Many times Christians will become offended, by the world, which according to Scripture, bring about drastic measures to come down upon them by God, as punishment for hurting one of His Children, but also offences will come from the word of God. Many Christians are still carnal minded, not truly understanding what the word actually is stating. Here is an example. I wrote an article on the Biblical teachings of the Curse of Israel. Some were offended and desired me to retract what I had written. I refused, and they became offended even further. I cannot change what the Bible states as fact. Jesus was sent to the House of Israel first. They rejected Him and the gentiles accepted Him. This is Bible. I cannot change that. Here is part of the message I have written called The Curse of Israel pt.1.; Mal 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. Pro 1:23-31; “Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity( “destruction” the King James Version); (5) the devastation of war (Jer.46:21 (6) adversities of any kind (Pro.27:10).); I will mock when your fear cometh;. As you can see, God had established many curses upon His own people for their rejection of His Laws. But this curse shall be lifted from them at the end of days, when they accept Jesus as Christ. The world(Carnal man, 1st Adam.) Matthew 18:6-7; But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! For an unbeliever to offend one of the Lords Children is common today. Christians, all around the world are persecuted, hated, offended, and murdered, for no other reason than that they believe in Jesus Christ, as the Son of God. Many people offend a Christian, because of the way we think, act, and testify of the Lord Christ. Our actions are different than the world. We do not do what they desire us to do. We do not commit adultery, run around the streets, drunk, on drugs, committing riotous acts, as they do. 1st Peter 4:3-5; For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. This is the way the world desires us to act. We cannot commit willful sin, we cannot accept any sin, no matter who they are, being, children, friend, family nor fine neighbor. Life is precious, but it is not the end. We are commanded by Christ, who is the head of all things concerning the church, to be separate from the acts of the world. Romans 13:12-14; The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering(Wanton, lewd, immodest behavior.) and wantonness, (lasciviousness.)(The softness, delicacy and weakness in men, which are characteristic of the female sex, but which in males are deemed a reproach; unmanly delicacy; womanish softness or weakness. Voluptuousness; indulgence in unmanly pleasures; not in strife and envying.) (Webster.) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. We are hated because we stand up for the commandments of God. We cannot be partaker of homosexuality, drunkenness, adultery, riotous living, we cannot accept this madness, that the world says, is freedom of sin to all. But we must warn them of their sin, and the consequences of they sin they commit. We are judged by the world as, trouble makers, and lyres. We are judged by the world as, dangerous people supporting Israel, and righteousness. We are called names, persecuted, and hounded, because we will not accept, the new world order, a one world religion, and the rejection of any man calling himself Father. We are hated, and judged, by the world because we will not be partaker of joint worship with the religions, that reject Christ as Lord and Savior. We cannot be married to God, and sleep with the Devil. The Christian(Carnal Minded.)(Christians are in Last Adam.) Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. This is speaking of the unruly among some Christians. Those that are trying to teach things that are contrary to sound judgment. We are commanded to avoid and mark them, and their teachings, as not Biblical. Jud 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; This happens very little in todays world because of apostasy in the mainstream church world, as per Biblical prophecy. Many churches today and, yes, many pastors, are not use to being strong within the bounds of the church body. We as ministers must control those that teach within the church, and be sure of the doctrine that they teach. We must not forget the Commandment of Christ; 1Titus 5:20 “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” We also see the power given to ministers, from God, in Romans; For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Is one church better than another? No. They all have their faults, but we remove ourselves from any Church that does not teach the sound doctrine, that was delivered to us, from the Holy Spirit. We must remember that there is only, One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism. This is stated in Old Testament writings and also in the New Testament Book of Revelations. There can no longer be ministers, nor Churches, that speak evil of one another, for we are the light of the world. If we are fighting among ourself, saying that this Church is bad, or that Church is bad, then how can we all come together as Christ commanded? How can we prove to the world that, Christianity is the only way of living, that God will accept? How can we prove to the world that, Christianity is the only way of salvation and that Jesus is Lord? Mat 7:21-23; Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. None of us are immune to making mistakes. 1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. The key here is to learn from them and ask forgiveness. Is there hope for these hypocritical Christians? Yes. Lets read; Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Rom 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Think about it. Ars.
Loving Israel.
What is your attitude towards Israel? These are some of the questions that bother people today. Why is Israel so important to the people of Christianity? Why is Israel so protected by the nations that fear God? Who are the people of Israel to God? How do you view Zachariah 12 and 13, Jeremiah 31, and Ezekiel 37? The children of Israel are our brothers and sisters. They are the chosen of God. We are under commandment from God to Bless Israel and not Curse. To speak kindly of Israel. The times of the gentiles will end, and the restoration of Israel back to the Lord, under Jesus Christ, will begin. Jesus told us that we were the wild branch, and that Israel was the natural branch. This is explained in Romans 11:18-24; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I (Gentile Race of People)might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they(Israel) were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches(Israel), take heed lest he also spare not thee(Gentiles). And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them(Israel) in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these(Israel), which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? The Arab nations, and the gentile race of people, are one in the same. We are all the seed of Abraham. God has divided us into only two peoples, the Jew and the Gentile. The nation of Israel will be saved in one day, according to Biblical prophecy. Romans 11:18-24, gives us a great deal of insight into who we, as gentiles are, and to who Israel is, to God. The Arab nations will come to accept Israel and Jesus Christ, or they will be destroyed by God. This prophecy is not only to them, but to all gentile races of peoples around the world. Will this destruction come from physical contact(Wars) between man and man? No. The prophecy's of end day destructions of the unbelievers, and the enemies of Israel, will be accomplished, supernaturally by God. This may be a strong statement but, it is the will of God concerning Israel. God only recognizes two distinct types of people in the world, those of the Jewish House of Israel, and the Gentile race of people, of who all others are aligned together. The first man Adam(Those under sin), and the Last Man Adam(Those that believe in Jesus.). We are called Greeks, gentiles, and “no people”, in Scripture. In Zec 12:3 we see that the Lord stated that the House of Israel will be a burden to all nations that desire her destruction. This has been accomplished in prophecy today. As the enemies of Israel have surrounded her, and desire her destruction as a nation. The Arabs, and Muslims, want to take away the promised possessions, (Land.) that God gave them as a possession for ever, this also includes the Palestinians. For the Lord stated;“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Jerusalem will be the capitol and the place of the throne of Jesus Christ. From there He will rule all nations with a Rod of Iron. This prophecy comes from; Rev 19:15 and Isa 11:4. Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. Eze. 37 is the restoration of Israel to God. Once being dead to the law, and the revival to life under Jesus. In Eze 37:9, we see the returning of all Jews to the land of Israel, becoming a nation again, which many say that, the establishment of the nation of Israel came into being in 1948, fulfilling this prophecy. “Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” Jesus stated fact again when he reiterated the statement of God about the returning of the Children of Israel back to the home land; Mar 13:26-27; And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Deu 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. Deu 30:4-5; If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. (Gen.49:10) Again you say; “We have our Prophets.” These are the words of the Prophets of God. You say; “Jesus of Nazareth was a man of God and a Prophet.” Then again, Why do you not believe Him? Think about it. Eze 37:1-3; The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. These verses also are in agreement with the statements of Christ Concerning the House of Israel, located in Matthew 23:27; “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.” Isa 1:17-20; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. If you have noticed, down threw recorded history, Israel has never been defeated, even by the most grandest of host. The land that God promised Moses, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, was attained by war, and conquest. For it was not Israel that fought, but the power of the Lord that fought their battles. If others had the right to this land, by God, would not God have defeated Israel, and gave the land to them? If Ishmael, was the promise Son of Abram, would not God have fought his battles, and gave the land straight way to Him, and his descendants? People look for the truth, and when they find it, sometimes they reject what is clear within their sight. This is the problem with the Arab Nations. Ishmael and Isaac are related. “And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael. Gen 17:19-21; And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.” This is the word of the Lord concerning Israel. Eze 48:29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD. (Eze_47:13-22; Num_34:2, Num_34:13; Josh. 13:1-21:45) You say, “We have our prophets to guide us.” Why do you then not believe your own prophets? They speak of Israel from the beginning to the end. They speak of Israel as the chosen of God, the rightful owner of Palestine and all lands which the Lord gave them for an inheritance. Most importantly, why do you not believe God? This is just a small sample of the importance of Israel and the prophecy's of Her. I hope this was useful to you in understanding Israel and us. Ars. Faith, what is it?
I write many sermons on faith, and its benefits to all, that will believe in someone, and somethings, that they cannot see. The Bible tells us that, faith is a substance, something that we cannot see, but can feel. Faith can be held onto or released. Others can see our faith, but only by our works, weather they be good or bad. If we give to others, they see our faith, if we proclaim Jesus as Lord and Christ, others can see this also. Faith is something that must be practiced and given room to grow. The less faith that you have, the little that you can accomplish, but with great faith in the unseen Lord, you can do wonders. It takes faith to use the gifts of the spirit. It take faith also to believe in the Lord our God. This nation, and others, have lost much of their faith in the true God, for the Bible states; “Without Faith, it is impossible to please God.” For one can only come to God threw Faith in Jesus Christ. We must believe that God is, and is a rewarder to those that seek Him. Have the delusions and doctrines of this life confused you into believing things that are not sound in doctrine nor in truth? Have you been so disgusted by the so called religious world, that you have shipwrecked your faith, and are now wondering as a cloud upon the blue sky, with no water, nor purpose? For if a cloud brings forth no water, there is just an empty cloud. Just as many with no faith, they are empty of the spirit of God. Faith gives us direction and purpose. Faith gives us power to accomplish much in the Lord, as ambassadors of Christ. Then what is Faith? Faith is to believe that, you are much more worthy of Gods blessings than the birds of the air, the beast of the field, and the clothing of the grass. Faith is knowing that God will feed you and cloth you in diverse situations. Faith is that, God knows when a sparrow falls and that He cares for you much more. This is stated by Jesus in Matthew 6:30; “Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” Faith is a substance whereby we all can approach God, as Children and not, as beggars. Faith is, the absence of fear of the world, the weather, and the demons of darkness, that fill the hearts of the unbelievers. What shall we do to stop the death of the body? Nothing, for we are in the flesh, but not of the flesh. We have a more perfect home, that was built without hands. Thou the seas may roar, the earth quakes, the people shout in anger, we still have our faith in a higher power. For when there is a great storm in our lives, there is also a great calm to follow, brought forth by the Lord. Remember what Jesus stated about faith? “According to your faith be it unto you.” Your presence, or dismissal, before the Lord, is dependent totally on your faith. Those that have no faith will hear, “Depart from Me, Ye workers of Iniquity, I never knew you.” There are levels of faith, from great to none, from strong to shipwrecked, which are you? Do you constantly worry about your food, shelter or clothing? Where is your faith? Didn't the Lord just tell you, according to your faith, let it be unto you? Faith doesn't come easy, as many believe. Many that are never in want are in the habit of not exercising their faith, so it doesn't grow. The greater faith comes from someone, who does struggle and is in need each day. They are exercising their faith day by day. Remember that Faith only grows when, 1. You ask God and 2. When you practice it. Faith; “Evangelical, justifying, or saving faith, is the assent of the mind to the truth of divine revelation, on the authority of God's testimony, accompanied with a cordial assent of the will or approbation of the heart; an entire confidence or trust in God's character and declarations, and in the character and doctrines of Christ, with an unreserved surrender of the will to his guidance, and dependence on his merits for salvation. In other words, that firm belief of God's testimony, and of the truth of the gospel, which influences the will, and leads to an entire reliance on Christ for salvation.”(Webster.) “Unreserved surrender of the will to his guidance, and dependence on his merits for salvation.” I love this definition of faith. The total surrendering of both mind and soul, without reservation, to the will of God. Faith is the surrendering of all we think we know, to the knowledge of God, and His Son Jesus. To be acceptable to all wisdom, knowledge and understanding of things, past, present and future. For the only one who has such knowledge, has offered to all, who believe, salvation of the soul, threw the name of His Son. Faith is the acceptance of the knowledge that, without the sacrifice of Jesus and the mercies of God, all men are lost and without hope. Using faith means using Gods word, to remind Him, of its continence and His promises. This being by the commandment of Christ. Isa 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. This is how I pray in faith; Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father. I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus, praying, asking and Glorifying your name. Your word tells us that Satan has been defeated by the Lord and Christ. He has no more hold on those, that believe in thy word and your Son Jesus. We know Father, that in the end days we shall be taken before the courts and magistrates, because of the rich being led by Satan to cause us harm. You have always answered my prayers Father, and I ask knowing, that you still do. I have seen many wonders from your hands, and mercy. I know thy works, thy mercy and thy Glory Father. Let us all Glorify thy name for ever more from everlasting to everlasting thou art, the Lord God Almighty. According to your will, let it be done unto us, that believe. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen and Amen. For lack of faith many will, and have, perished. Deu 32:20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. Faith is not hope, but hope with faith, is very powerful. For even the unbelievers have hope, but their hope is not founded upon the promises of God. Their hope lies in man and self. I can do this, I can do that, I can do anything. This is a lie and a deception on their part. “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, (For even Satan stated;) “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?”(Isa 14:12-17) Remember faith is a firm belief of God's testimony, and of the truth of the gospel, which influences the will, and leads to an entire reliance on Christ for salvation. As is your faith, let it be unto you. Ars.
A Church by any other name?
Catholicism Superiority?
There has been many a discussion on which church is the best. This conversation has been going on for a thousand years or so. The coming together of the Christian church has been interrupted for many years. As many churches try to come together, others have tried to tear apart. I have read many an article concerning church doctrine. This article from the Catholic Pope is one that is very upsetting. Lets read, and then we will discuss what the Bible has to say. Vatican Document Reasserts Catholicism Superiority. Baptist Press September 8, 2000 "Censuring what it called the spread of 'religious relativism,' the Vatican on Tuesday instructed Roman Catholics to uphold the dogma that their church is the sole path to spiritual salvation for all humanity." The 36-page Vatican document was released at a news conference in Rome by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the principal Vatican body for defining and upholding theological tradition. Vatican officials said the document has the explicit approval of 80-year-old Pope John Paul II, who has occupied the papacy for 22 years. "'Pope Benedict XVI reasserted the primacy of the Roman Catholic Church, approving a document released Tuesday (07/10/07) that says other Christian communities are either defective or not true churches and Catholicism provides the only true path to salvation. ... The commentary repeated church teaching that says the Catholic Church 'has the fullness of the means of salvation. ... Christ established here on earth only one church,' The other communities 'cannot be called 'churches' in the proper sense' because they do not have apostolic succession ... and therefore their priestly ordinations are not valid'." “Catholicism provides the only true path to salvation.” When Jesus came to establish the Church, He established only one, as stated here; But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (Heb 12:22-23.) “the general assembly and church of the firstborn.” Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI, had no clue to the statements that they were making. These statements are based on false doctrine and madness. “Other Christian communities are either defective or not true churches”; If these statements were true, it would mean that the disciples, the Apostle Paul, and even Mary, the Mother of Christ, died lost. There was no Catholicism within the early Churches. If these statements were true, it would mean that all the friends of the catholics, that are Christians out side the Catholic Doctrine, are lost, and that all peoples before, in the past 2000 years, died lost, which would include the patriarchs, Moses, Arron, Solomon, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You can see now how foolish these statements are. They judge by their standard, and not that of common sense. The Apostle Paul had the duty to establish Churches around, what was then considered, the know world, Mesopotamia, Asia, ect. There were none set up for the doctrine of Catholicism, for it did not exist. There has only been one doctrine that was taught then, and it is the only acceptable doctrine today. Man made doctrine, and traditions, are an insult to Christ, and the Word that God delivered to us by the Holy Spirit. Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. The Catholic hierarchy has a long history of going against Israel, and desiring the control of Jerusalem, this is also contrary to sound doctrine. For even Christ stated that He came to save the Lost House of Israel. Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, and is the Throne of Christ, it does not belong to the gentile race of people. “The commentary repeated church teaching that says the Catholic Church 'has the fullness of the means of salvation.” This statement is full of false doctrine. It negates everything that Christ accomplished. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Salvation comes from faith in Christ and His teachings, Sacrifice and resurrection, not from a name upon a church. Was Christ lying to us, or does the statements of this article lie? Where in scripture, do these people see, that there is only one way of salvation threw the Catholicism system? Was not salvation made available to all men, threw the sacrifice of Jesus? Were not there establishments of more churches than the seven churches of Asia? Does not Christ warn of False Doctrine? Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? The apostate church of today and the end days, are men of false doctrine, false doctrine, and full of traditions. “The Catholic church is the sole path to spiritual salvation for all humanity.” "Jesus warned us of man made traditions, that offered no peace, nor salvation. He warned us not to call any man Father, for we only have one Father. Why then do these men and others, call all other Christian Churches, non Christian? Why do they tell others to follow the letter of the law, but them selves, reject the law themselves as being to restrictive? Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation. (Luk 20:46-7) Have you not read these words? “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” (1Ti 6:3-5) Think for yourself. When we speak of Faith.
When we speak of Faith, we speak of Trust. Trust in somethings, and someone, that we cannot see nor at times understand. We don't know why many things happen to the believers, but we know that there is someone that does. Why do good things happen to bad people, and bad things happen to the righteous? This is easily explains in scripture. For it is the trying of your faith. James 1:3; “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” These words are spoken directly to you. “Knowing that the trying of your faith.” It is your faith, that sustains you threw all trials, troubles, and tribulations. This yoke of burdens are not something that is strange, but it has happened to all that believe in Christ. We see, at times, the rich wasting their goods on frivolous things, and the poor struggling to make ends meet. But we take this all in stride, for we know that if we faint not, or turn not away from the promises, we shall be filled, when others hunger, we shall drink, when others are in drought, we shall be clothed, when others are naked. Our tears shall be turned to smiles, our burdens shall be turned to feathers of laughter, and our sorrows shall be turned into radiant joy. When we loan, why do we seek restitution, shall we not be as Christ? Shall we not forgive our brothers debts, as Christ forgave ours? Is this not also a trying of your faith? Do you not believe, that it is better to give than receive? Faith doesn't come when you are full, clothed, rich, or powerful, it comes when you are, down and out, when you are in distress, and in need. This is faith, when you can see the best out of the worst situation. Faith is believing, before you see, before you have, before you are in the presence, of the Almighty God. Faith is accepting the will of God for you, and yours, without question, accepting the gifts from God before you see them. Acceptance of the truth in your life. For we are all sinners, saved by grace threw faith in Christ. Our faith doesn't lie in the presence of gifts from God, faith doesn't show itself when we are self sufficient. Faith is having all, without seeing, doing all, without movement, and seeing all, threw the power of the Holy Spirit. For many that see are still blind. Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. As Jehoshaphat told the inhabitants of Jerusalem; 2Ch 20:20; “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” Faith is nothing new, but it is an established state of mind, from the foundation of the world. It is established by believing in God, and His ability, to provide your daily needs. Faith is believing without seeing, without touching, and without experiencing, the good or the evil. Do you believe in the existence of Satan, Hell, The lake of Fire, do you believe in a Heaven, and eternal joy? Then you are showing faith. Must we also believe, in the prophets, to have faith, Yes. For how would we know about faith, and the word of God, without the prophets. Lets read; “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2Co 4:16-18.) “though our outward man perish.” Though we are dieing daily, in the flesh, we are being made eternal, in our spirit. Though this body is aging, and death is only a heart beat away, we are being made immortal by our faith. Do you believe that you are immune to death, do you believe that you are better than someone else because of your possessions? Then you have lost your faith in the truth. “We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.” (1Co 4:10-14) Does not these words speak of many today? Does not these words speak of the many, that are preaching the true Gospel, around the world? Yes. Then does not these words speak of true faith in God and His Son? There are many ministers around this world today that are in need, but they suffer the need, the hunger, the persecution, and the loneliness, for the sake of the Gospel. Those that are despised, by others, are the Children of the Most High. These words are a blessing to all, that believe in Christ. For we are blessed if we suffer, for the sake of the Gospel, we are blessed if we are persecuted, and hated, for the sake of Jesus. We are blessed. Rom 8:26-28; Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Faith is believing these words and taking them to heart; “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” The Bible tells us that, “for we know not what we should pray for as we ought.” We do not know what to pray for or even how. The Holy Spirit makes intersessions for us. We pray mostly in the mind, knowing only what our body's feel that is right, but or most effectual prayers, and faith, comes from the spirit. Here is where we are received into the throne room of God, here is where we can communicate our needs, and our most intimate thoughts. We must all learn to pray in the spirit, according to the Scripture. We must all learn how to maximize our faith. This is the will of God for all. “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” ars References Websters, TSK and Easton.
The beginning of Sorrows.
For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. (Isa 66:16) This world is full of triumphs, tragedy's, successes, and failures. We see mankind, running too and fro, seeking wealth, knowledge, and power. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” (Dan 12:4) We see many rejoicing in their wealth, and their ability to humble the poor under their feet. We see unjust wars, and hatred abounding around this planet. Many say; “I am rich, and in need of nothing, nor anyone to guide me.” The increase of knowledge, around the world, has tripled in just the last 50 years. Computers, nuclear devices, searches in the heavens for other life, terrorist with the ability to produce, chemical, biological, and other weapons of mass destruction. For knowledge shall be increased. And with this knowledge comes the, spirit of anti-Christ, greed, and death, to multitudes. For as it says, “With absolute power, comes absolute corruption.” and “Absolute power, corrupts absolutely.” The corruption of mind, body and spirit. For the Bible tells us of these times; For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1Ti 6:10) The beginning of Sorrows, is a time where mankind becomes involved in idol worship, and apostasy. These times are, and will be, filled with earthquakes, fires, floods, war, rumors of wars. Children putting their parents to death, and parents putting their children to death. These times are filled with the great seas roaring out of their banks, stars falling from the sky, and murder abounding. Many think that their riches are safe, but on the contrary, money will become useless. These people have no saviour, nor hope, for they will turn their backs on the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. (Isa 65:13-14.) All these things are coming about. The beginning of sorrows fills the world today but multitudes have closed their eyes, so they will not see, their ears, so they will not hear, and their mouths, so they will not speak of such things. The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. (Isa 17:13) And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mar 13:7-8.) You say; “There have been such things upon this earth for centuries.” This is true, but Jesus stated, “This is the beginning of Sorrows.” Who has the time table of God in their hand, who can tell the Lord when these things begin, and end? 100 years ago, an earthquake may have caused many to die, but the same earthquakes today cost, multitudes to die, cannot you see the increase of events that are bringing about more death, and destruction? Man has built himself monoliths, skyscrapers, can't you see the danger of these actions, can't you see that man is building towers of steal, and glass, to honor himself? Does all this indicate that we are in the last days? Yes. Does all this say the world will end soon? No. For these are the beginning of the sorrows, and sufferings of man. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel. And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape. (Jer 25:32-35.) The beginning of sorrows started when Christ announced the event. For time is in the best interest of man, and not God. Do you believe that everything remains the same sense the days of your fathers, fathers, do you not see the difference from 1 A.D. To today? This sowing to the wind began at the time of the Assention and continues today, in the form of so called progress. Many believe that mankind can over come his ambition and hatred of each other, to make this world come to peaceful terms, this is not so, and can never be. For as the Bible states; “You who sow to the wind, shall reap the whirlwind.” For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. (Isa 66:15-16.) The LORD pleads with all flesh, Jew, Greek, Gentile, and those of no alliance. Man will not heed to the calling of God, neither will they repent of their works of darkness, for they will be lovers of themselves, and not lovers of God. They will be lovers of darkness and ignorance, not seeking wisdom, nor entertaining the thought that they are weaker than God. Many, as today, will say, “We are gods, we are power, we are the savior, we need no man, no god, no rules, and no communication from Heaven.” The time is coming, and now is, the day of religious indifference, many do not know the truth, and in time will seek the truth, and it will not be found. Amo 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. Lev 26:28-32; Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. If the Lord did this to His chosen people, how much more sorrow will He put upon the gentile race of people that have, and will reject His Son? Have you not read the scripture for yourself, have you not understood the prophecy's, have you not known that the end is getting closer? Can you not hear the crys of the fallen, who have cried, day and night over your soul? Giving their lives for the Gospel so that you can hear the truth? Mar 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. These are the beginning of sorrows. Ars.
There and Back.
I remember the good times, and the bad of the past. I remember, triumphs, and failures. I remember, loves gained, and loves lost. I remember, births, and deaths. I remember, it all. I was a wicked man, not knowing the truth about life. I was a man after the pleasures of life, never knowing day from night. I never regarded one day more than another, but held every day as the same. Some times I told the truth, and more than often, told lies. I seen myself in the mirror, and was self inspired at what I saw, but afterwards, I couldn't remember what I looked like. I was a loner and a wanderer, in a world that I had established, yes, I had created a world of what I thought it should be, and was still not satisfied. I Cried to myself. All these days are lost to the annals of history, never to be revived again. Can Our failures in the past, not serving God, nor man, ever be returned to us? Can I still make a difference, for once I was young, and now I am old? My days upon this earth are numbered, and I realize that now, woe is me. Eze 33:15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. Our failures and sins of the past shall be forgiven us, if we renew ourselves to, and with, the Lord. Our failures must be eliminated by repentance. By restoring the pledge, we make with God, we can start anew and begin again. Failure to admit our sins can cost us dearly. We must; 1.Restore the pledge.(Repent of your sins.) 2.Give again that you had robbed.(Return all things taken from others.) 3.Walk in the statutes of life. (The covenant of the Gospel of Christ.) 4. Without committing iniquity of any kind. Iniquity; A particular deviation from rectitude; a sin or crime; wickedness; any act of injustice. Your iniquities have separated you and your God. Isa 59. Your iniquities will separate you from God. God will restore your days, but not while the hint of sin remains. Psa 85:7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. Salvation comes from the gift of God. It is not a possession that can be bought but it is given, threw your acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Salvation is, the redemption of man from the bondage of sin and liability to eternal death, and the conferring on him everlasting happiness. Redemption is the purchase of God's favor by the death and sufferings of Christ; the ransom or deliverance of sinners from the bondage of sin and the penalties of God's violated law by the atonement of Christ. In whom we have redemption through his blood. Eph 1. Psa 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. The restoration of man to an acceptable state with God, is an act of belief in the unseen, and the unknown. Believing in the Fathers Christ, and His sacrifice, for you. You can be restored all the years that you have lost by returning again to Christ, accepting your punishment, this by your own actions, and acceptance of the duty and works that God had required you to do. This punishment that I speak of, is the things or should I say works, that you preformed, while out of Grace with God. Can a man fall back and become backsliden? Yes. This is what we are speaking of. Many say that no one can backslide, this is not so, for even God stated to the Israelites that they were a backsliding nation. Psa 85:5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? Psa 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? Will not God forgive you and redeem you again? Yes. But we must remember that, there comes a time when God will turn His back upon mankind, for their wickedness, and all will be condemned to die the second death. We cannot continue to turn to sin, expecting forgiveness each time. There comes a time, and day of no return. For the scriptures state, Gods spirit shall not always strive(Be burdened) with man. Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (Jas 5:19-20) If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. (1Jn 5:16-17) “If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death.” This is the blaspheme of the Holy Ghost. In other words, if a man contribute or recognize, or state falsely, that any sin is of God, he has lost his redemption, salvation, and is condemned into the lake of fire after his death. For there is no forgiveness for this sin. Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.(Mar 3:28-30) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. (Mat 12:31-33) Gods desire is for each man to be as he is, not a man double minded, not a hypocrite. Be either good or evil, by doing so each will know where he stands with God. It is hard to turn a hypocrite back to God, for they believe within themselves to be righteous. Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Ars.
Confidence.
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Psa 118:8) A trusting, or reliance; an assurance of mind or firm belief in the integrity, stability or veracity of another, or in the truth and reality of a fact.We all must understand that our faith, hope, and trust rest in our confidence in the Lord. His ability to promise and his ability to deliver upon them. Many people start out with the greatest of confidence in the Lord and for a while they endure all things with joy and persistence. This assurance of our mind was set by the over powering joy of our salvation and the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, but as time went along our faith was tried and many started to fall by the wayside, seeing that being saved was not an easy life to live, in many circumstances. We see this also brought out in the teaching of the parables of Christ, namely the sower and the seed. This trusting, or reliance in God was the top most importance to us, as a young Christian. When we started to see that the world hated us, it hurt us not only in our feelings, but also in our spirit. When I was saved, I thought that everyone would be happy and rejoice with me, I thought that my relationships with my peers would be good, but as a fact, nothing changed. They didn’t care if I was saved, for many didn’t believe in it. I was made fun of and in some instances, even a fellow Christian made no effort to be a brother to me. I felt so alone and troubled. I had heard how wonderful it was being a Christian, I was taught that I would be far better off as a Christian, I was disappointed. My trust and reliance in God turned to trust in man, and man let me down. I learned so very quickly not to put my trust any more in man, not only for my spiritual well being, but also my physical life also. I had to learn quickly to trust in the unseen, unheard, and all knowing. My confidence in man was shaken and I would never let this happen again. Even when I knew the word, I still, at my younger age, faltered and failed the Lord many times, I did things that I would regret later. For as God had instructed me, what you sow you shall also reap. What I did, being out of the will of God, I paid for later on. This was a lesson in humility and grace. In my beginning years I had no stability in the truth or in the realities of a facts concerning the Gospel.Just as Jesus had stated. My problem was, as with so many in these end days, I had not rooted nor grounded myself in the word of God. I needed a sure foundation to build upon, and confidence in what I had read. This also brings out what Job was saying about mans confidence, faith and trust in God.“Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?” (Job 4:6) The first thing that I had to do was to develop a fear of the Lord, for it is the fear of the Lord that is the beginning of wisdom. I read, studied, and contemplated in the Word. I started to dig deeper into it and found that the Bible had all the answers to all the questions that I ever had, concerning the spiritual and the physical. This easy life, that many spoke of, was not the total truth. Yes there are untold millions, that are saved, that have not been tried as others were, but not all had this road to walk, many had a rough road to travel, even though it was still the same path.We do not know why some are allowed to be tried and tested, and others are not, but even in this, isn’t this part of our faith, hope, and trust in the Lord? This reminds me of what the Lord stated to Satan; “Have you considered My servant Job?”When I started to fear God, that is with a reverent fear, I found myself with wisdom and knowledge, that I didn’t know existed. Don’t take me wrong, I am not the most knowledgeable in the Scriptures, but the knowledge that I had was multiplied by leaps and bounds. I found myself trusting more and more in the Lord to provide my daily needs, and the needs of my family. I found myself reading the word and being able to see the sand, hills, mountains, I could see the people, and even hear their conversations, this all a blessing from God, to help me to understand.God had showed His love for me, for He had, on many occasions, saved my life. I had been in many different situations from the Military to my public life, that God had saved me from falls, explosions, sickness, car wrecks, and heart attacks. I knew Him and He knew me.The next thing that I had to learn was Hope. Hope is; “Confidence in a future event; the highest degree of well founded expectation of good; as a hope founded on God’s gracious promises; a scriptural sense.” For as it is written; “We are saved by Hope.”By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Rom 5:2)I had to begin hoping in the unseen, without question and without proof. Many want to see the things that they hope for first, but doesn’t it say, If you have what you hope for, it is no longer hope?I have seen bills paid by hope, food come to our home by hope, and healings come forth, by hope.We must have the highest degree, of well founded expectation, of good coming from the Lord. For once we have done everything that we can do, we must stop and wait upon the Lord. We must put our confidence in Him, and Him alone. As it is written; If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?(Mat 7:11)The hypocrite’s hope shall perish. The Bible states; “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (Jas 1:6-8) How shall we receive anything from the Lord if our confidence in Him is as a ship tossed too and fro? If we change our level of faith, hope and assurance within ourselves at each and every obstacle that we face, how can God grant our desires or prayers? Faith, Hope, Confidence, Trust, and Belief are all interconnected for us to be able to approach God with the petitions that we have for Him. “the uprightness(Honesty; integrity in principle or practice; conformity to rectitude and justice in social dealings.) of thy ways?”Be ye Holy as the Lord is Holy. With confidence in the Lord, our life shows outwardly that we are a child of the king. Our uprightness has a great bearing upon our prayers being answered and also it shows the world that there is a God and an excellent reason to believe in Him. We have heard and do speak, we believe and act, we trust and walk. We fear not what man can do to us, we fear only the Lord.We act as an emissary of Christ, not being seen as a drunkard, lier, thief, and not double minded in our faith toward God.So remember; “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” ars.
